Pakistan reports 2,184 new coronavirus cases, 82 deaths

Pakistan has so far conducted 6,775,307 coronavirus tests.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 82 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 484,362. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 10,258 on Saturday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 2,184 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Sindh remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.

Till now 216,632 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 139,341 in Punjab 59,023 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 38,020 in Islamabad, 18,181 in Balochistan, 8,303 in Azad Kashmir and 4,862 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore 4,085 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 3,582 in Sindh, 1,661 in KP, 421 in Islamabad, 224 in Azad Kashmir, 184 in Balochistan, and 101 in GB.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 6,775,307 coronavirus tests and 38,229 in the last 24 hours. 438,974 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 2,264 patients are in critical condition.
