Met office predicts cold, dry weather in most parts of country
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, rain and snowfall is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas.
According to Met Office Fog is prevailing in few plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.
Temperature of some major cities were recorded as, Islamabad and Lahore six degree centigrade, Karachi fifteen, Peshawar two, Quetta minus five, Gilgit minus three, Murree minus one and Muzaffarabad three degree centigrade.
According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy weather is expected in Jammu and cloudy with chances of rain and snowfall in Pulwama, Anantnag, Baramulla, Srinagar, Leh and Shopian.
Temperature were recorded in Srinagar, Anantnag and Shopian minus three degree centigrade, Jammu five, Leh minus eleven, Pulwama and Baramulla minus two degree centigrade.
