CM Buzdar orders foolproof security across province on Quaid's Day, Christmas

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has ordered police and other concerned authorities to ensure foolproof security across the province on December 25 when the nation will observe Quaid’s Day and Christian community will celebrate Christmas.

Usman Buzdar said there is no other priority of the government than to secure the lives and properties of people. He directed the provincial police to remain in field and to strictly implement the security plan that has been devised for the day.

The Punjab CM said special attention should be paid to secure churches, markets and other public places. He also stressed to follow the coronavirus standard operating procedures (SOPs) as COVID-19 cases continue to surge.

The enemy wants to destabilize Pakistan but all wicked plans were foiled in the past and will not be allowed to succeed in future either, Usman Buzdar said while ordering the administration to conduct effective monitoring across Punjab.
