ABBOTTABAD (Dunya News) – A female coronavirus patient under treatment at the Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad died on Sunday as fault developed in ventilator, Dunya News reported.
The heirs of the deceased woman staged a protest against the hospital administration after the incident. A police contingent also reached the hospital to bring the situation under control.
Meanwhile, Pakistan has reported 80 deaths in the last 24 hours from novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 457,288. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 9,330 on Sunday.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 2,615 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
