Sheikh Rashid announces removal of unnecessary police check posts in Islamabad
Police is most underfunded in Pakistan: Interior Minister
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that unnecessary police check posts will be removed from federal capital.
Talking to media persons, Sheikh Rashid said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will attend the passing out parade of Islamabad Police in this month. He while paying tribute to martyrs of Islamabad and Pakistan Police, said that police is most underfunded in Pakistan.
Interior Minister, while announcing a visit to NADRA office tomorrow, said that Pakistani national identity card and passport should not be insulted.
Sheikh Rashid further said that voting by show of hand in Senate elections will end all concerns regarding rigging in the elections of upper house.
