Motorway sections closed as dense fog blankets parts of Punjab
The Motorway police have appealed to the drivers to drive slowly and switch on fog lights.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Motorway M3 section from Faizpur to Abdul Hakim and Motorway M4 section from Shorekot to Shamkot have been closed as dense fog engulfed different parts of Punjab on night between Tuesday and Wednesday, Dunya News reported.
The thick fog has badly affected the flow of road traffic in several cities of Punjab.
According to a Motorway spokesman, the Motorway M3 section from Faizpur to Abdul Hakim and Motorway M4 section from Shorekot to Shamkot have been closed as visibility was down to 30-metre to 150-metre.
The Motorway police have appealed to the drivers to drive slowly and switch on fog lights. The people have been requested to stay home and avoid unnecessary travelling.
