PDM issues guidelines urging Lahore rally participants to avoid violence, vandalism
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has issued guidelines for its members for the December 13 rally at Minar e Pakistan Lahore.
The directive says that all workers attending the rally should carry national identity cards, they should dress accordingly for the cold winter night and keep umbrellas with them as there is a chance of rain, keep water bottles for drinking and ablution purposes. Workers have also been advised to stay in touch with local leadership and not separate from their respective groups.
The guidelines say that the participants should respect the law and cooperate with Ansar-ul-Islam organization responsible for security in the venue, they should also avoid violence and vandalism of property.
The directive states that the protection of public property is the responsibility of all participants. It also urged all workers to respect each other and avoid any untoward incident.
