PPP MNA Agha Rafiullah submits resignation to Bilawal
Agha Rafiullah was Member National Assembly (MNA) from constituency NA-238-Karachi.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MNA Agha Rafiullah on Tuesday submitted his resignation to PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Dunya News reported.
The move came after Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) asked all members of National and Provincial Assemblies from the 11-party opposition alliance to submit their resignations to their respective party leaders by December 31.
In his resignation, Agha Rafiullah stated that he has resigned from the membership of the National Assembly on the orders of top leadership of his party, and was proud to take part in the struggle for the restoration of true democracy in the country and the campaign to overthrow the elected government.
