Rawalpindi: Case registered against local PDM leaders for violating corona SOPs

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Police have registered a case of violation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of coronavirus against the local learders of Pakistan Democratic Movement s (PDM) for taking out a rally in Rawalpindi, Dunya News reported on Sunday.
A rally was taken out from Kamran Market to Press Club Liaquat Bagh on the call of main leadership of PDM. The rally was attended by nearly 150 people, including leaders of political parties, who violated the coronavirus SOPs.
According to police, case had been registered on the request of the officials of health department at the Cantt Police Staion.
The case has been registered against 150 people including 11 local leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F).
Former mayor of Rawalpindi Sardar Naseem and former MNA Malik Abrar have also been nominated in the case.
