Holding rallies by endangering people's lives is folly: CM Buzdar
Usman Buzdar said PDM is destined to shed tears.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Friday said holding rallies by endangering the lives of people amidst coronavirus is political folly. Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) should review its negative behavior, he remarked.
Usman Buzdar said in his statement that any sane mind cannot even think of holding public rallies under the current circumstances. These elements are unfortunately deprived not only of wisdom but also insight, he commented.
The Punjab CM said the opposition is practicing hypocrisy as it demanded strict lockdown during the first wave of COVID-19 and is now carrying out rallies when the second wave is intensifying.
Usman Buzdar stressed that those who are putting the lives of people at stake are not their well wishers and this selfish group does not care about the masses. PDM is destined to shed tears, the CM said while affirming that the government will ensure every step to protect people.
