Condolences pour in for ex-PM Mir Zafarullah Jamali
The prime minister and the COAS extended condolences and prayers to the bereaved family.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Condolence messages began pouring in immediately from various quarters after the demise of former prime minister and veteran politician Mir Zafarullah Jamali.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, in his tweet, expresses heartfelt condolences on the passing of former PM Jamali.
He wrote, “Saddened to hear of the passing of Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali. My condolences and prayers go to his family.”

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa expressed heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of the ex-prime minister.
In a latest Tweet, COAS wrote, “May Allah bless his soul & give strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss, Ameen”.

President Dr Arif Alvi also expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the death of former prime minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali.
The president expressing his condolence and sympathies with the bereaved family, prayed for the high ranks of the departed soul and for the bereaved family to bear the loss with fortitude.

Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri expressed deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise of Zafarullah Jamali.
In a condolence message, he said Pakistan has lost a great patriot and experienced politician and his services politics will soon be remembered for a long.
He prayed that Allah Almighty may give him high ranks in Jannah.
On the other hand, Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda, Interior Minister Ejaz Ahmad Shah, Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani, Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Federal Minister for Aviation Division Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Leader of Opposition in Senate Raja Zafarul Haq, PML-Q leader Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar have also expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Mir Zafarullah Jamali.
Interior Minister Ejaz Ahmad Shah said that Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali always kept his traditions alive. His services will always be remembered.
In his tweet, PTI leader Jahangir Khan Tareen also condoled the death of the former prime minister.

Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan in his message said, "The contributions of Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali for Pakistan will always be remembered."
