Opposition's Lahore rally will be held at all costs: PDM leaders
LAHORE (Dunya News) - PDM leaders have announced that PDM’s Lahore rally will take place on December 13 at all costs. They said that in case the authorities and protestors lock horns, all responsibility will fall on the government.
The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) leaders on Wednesday held a press conference in Lahore regarding the December 13 rally. PML-N Punjab President Rana Sanaullah said that the rally would be held at Minar-e-Pakistan at all costs. If there are any obstructions resulting in a clash, the government will be responsible, he added.
JUI leader Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said that the united opposition has a singular narrative. The government should be wary of the fact that if it tries to escalate things, we will be armed as well. PPP’s Chaudhry Manzoor said that the government has backtracked on all its promises, our arrested members must be released.
Leaders of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) also strongly condemned the dismissal of 4,500 employees of the Pakistan Steel Mills.
