Sharif family not refraining from politics over Begum Shamim's death: Firdous Ashiq
Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan warned PDM to not challenge the writ of the state.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to the Punjab Chief Minister on Information, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan Thursday said Sharif family is not even refraining from doing politics over Begum Shamim Akhtar’s death.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader talked to media in Lahore on the occasion of the inauguration of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar Underpass in Firdous Market and said parole of Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz will come into effect after announcement of Begum Shamim’s funeral prayer.
Those who used airplane for food supply have now sent dead body of their mother through cargo, she remarked.
Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan warned Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) to not challenge the writ of the state. She said coronavirus does not differentiate between the government and the opposition and affects all equally.
Commenting on completion of the underpass, she said time and resources of people will be saved. The PTI leader stressed that corruption was done in such projects in the past but the incumbent regime has saved Rs 13 crore by transparent tendering process.
