Joint opposition formulates unanimous strategy in Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly
A grand opposition alliance has been formed in the newly elected Assembly of Gilgit-Baltistan.
GILGIT (Dunya News) - Joint opposition in the newly elected Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly during a meeting at a local hotel has formulated a unanimous strategy to give tough time to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
The meeting was held at a local hotel which was attended by PPP Gilgit-Baltistan provincial president and newly elected member of assembly Amjad Hussain Advocate, former Chief Minister and provincial president PML-N Gilgit-Baltistan Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman, Pakistan People’s Party provincial information secretary Sadia Danish, senior provincial vice president PPP Jamil Ahmed and JUI-F Gilgit-Baltistan Ameer Maulana Ataullah Shehab, BNF chief Nawaz Khan Naji.
A grand opposition alliance has been formed in the newly elected Assembly of Gilgit-Baltistan. According to sources, PPP provincial president Amjad Advocate will be the unanimous candidate for the CM post from the joint opposition in the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Ghulam Muhammad will be unanimous candidate for Speaker’s post while Rehmat Khaliq of JUI-F will be the unanimous candidate for the post of Deputy Speaker.
