PTI will win Gilgit-Baltistan elections: Sheikh Rashid
Sheikh Rashid said Nawaz Sharif knows that his political career is over.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Pakistan railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has on Saturday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will win Gilgit-Baltistan elections while Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will remain second followed by independent candidates and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Sheikh Rashid held a press conference in Lahore and said PML-N Vice-president Maryam Nawaz negated her father’s – Nawaz Sharif – politics and paralyzed Shehbaz Sharif. PML-N will face resistance from within by December till February, he said while adding that Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is not strong enough to topple the incumbent government.
The federal minister added, “Nawaz Sharif knows that his political career is over and Maryam Nawaz is also ineligible. Whoever will lose GB polls will level allegations of rigging. People nowadays are not accepting defeat even in America.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan will complete his term of five years and control inflation before December 30. Coronavirus is increasing in the country therefore rallies and public gatherings should not be held.
“RAW has started operation to destabilize Pakistan and politicians should now take care of their security. I was attacked thrice. It is unbearable for India to see Pakistan’s economy progressing.”
