Punjab decides to regularize 30,000 daily wagers, contract employees
30,000 daily wagers and contract employees will be regularized.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Government of Punjab has decided to regularize 30,000 daily wagers and contract employees working in various departments of the provincial government.
As per details, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has summoned reports regarding employees from concerned departments including schools, higher education, municipalities, communications, irrigation, interior, housing and Labor department.
On the other hand, Usman Buzdar also approved recruitment of transport inspectors, sub-inspectors and sergeants and directed to take necessary steps for starting electric bus service as soon as possible. He also directed to raise status of Lahore Transport Company (LTC) to Punjab Transport Company (PTC).
Usman Buzdar has approved green electric buses for Lahore’s 103 kilometer long six routes.
