Joint Russian-Pakistani military exercise 'Druzhba 5' begins

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A two-week-long joint Russian-Pakistani military exercise codenamed Druzhba (Friend­ship) 5 has begun in Tarbela today (Sunday).



According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the exercise is aimed at sharing both armies’ experiences in counterterrorism domain.

Pak-Russian Federation Special Forces are participating in the ceremony.



Russian ambassador to Pakistan, Mr Danila Ganich and senior officials from both the armies were present on the occasion. in the drills.
