Any verdict announced by apex court judge is verdict of Supreme Court of Pakistan: CJP
Justice Gulzar stressed upon need to refrain from creating controversy regarding courts in public.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Gulzar Ahmed on Friday said that any verdict announced by the apex court judge is verdict of Supreme Court of Pakistan, Dunya News reported.
Addressing a Sindh High Court Bar Associated ceremony, Justice Gulzar Ahmed said that it was wrong to say that a few judges are courageous and the remaining do not have the courage to make a decision.
Justice Gulzar Ahmed said that such remarks severely dent the credibility of the courts and also fall under contempt of court category. He stressed upon the need to refrain from creating controversy regarding courts in public and causing divisions within the bench.
