Bilawal has distanced himself from Nawaz's narrative: PTI leaders

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The leaders of incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday have said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has distanced himself from the narrative of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif.

While reacting to Bilawal Bhutto’s interview to international news corporation, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication Dr. Shahbaz Gill said that opposition attacked the national security of the country for not getting National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) from PM Imran Khan. PML-N has misused the support of PPP.

There is no future of PDM as it’s the party of only unemployed members, Shahbaz Gill added.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz said that Bilawal Bhutto has expressed dissatisfaction with Nawaz Sharif. PPP chairman’s statement shows divided narrative of PDM, he said.

Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid said PPP cannot stand with PML-N and that Sindh government will never resign.

The reaction came after Bilawal Bhutto said that he was shocked to hear ex-PM Nawaz Sharif directly accusing military leadership during his speech in PDM Gujranwala rally.

The PPP leader said that taking names of military leaders was Nawaz Sharif’s personal choice as he has his own party and rules. It was decided in the PDM agenda to use ‘establishment’ word and not to take name of any national institution, he told.

Bilawal Bhutto said that he is waiting for evidence by ex-PM to prove his allegations. Due to intensifying coronavirus situation, I am unable to meet the PML-N supremo. However, a formal discussion with Nawaz Sharif is required for complete details on this issue, he went on to say.
