There is always space for dialogue in politics: Sheikh Rashid
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed Saturday said that statements by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) are part of international agenda as India celebrated statement by former speaker of National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq.
Addressing a press conference, Sheikh Rashid said that opposition is prioritizing politics over state and warned that results of a fight with state will be dangerous.
Sheikh Rashid said that the seed sown by former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will only create more problems. Political situation is worsening and result of current situation will not be good, he claimed.
He said tolerance exhibited by state institutions is praise worthy but opposition does not realize where politics of the country are heading.
The federal minister said that neither Prime Minister Imran Khan is going anywhere nor there is any chance of martial law in the country and predicted that Imran Khan will successfully deal with all the crisis in the country.
Talking about politics of opposition, he praised politics by Pakistan People Party (PPP) while saying that politics of Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman are not very important for the country.
He said that there is always space for dialogue in politics and even PM Imran Khan has not refused dialogue.
