Fayyaz Chohan demands to arrest Maryam Nawaz
Chohan said Captain Safdar's arrest was logical conclusion of violating sanctity of Quaid's tomb.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Following Captain (retd) Safdar’s arrest on Monday for violating the sanctity of the Quaid’s mausoleum, Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan demanded to also detain Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice-president Maryam Nawaz.
Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan said in his statement that Captain Safdar’s arrest was the logical conclusion of desecration of the Mazar-e-Quaid and same treatment should be given to Maryam Nawaz.
He further said, “Mrs Safdar Awan has named her father, family and herself as ‘vote’ after being humiliated by courts and people. She should have apologized at the Quaid’s mausoleum for looting Pakistan and promoting ideology of the Indian establishment.”
