CM Punjab reviews steps for promotion of livestock sector
Punjab CM directed to form a special committee for the promotion of livestock and dairy sector.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - A high level meeting was held under the chair of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar to review steps taken for the promotion and development of livestock and dairy sector.
During the meeting, Usman Buzdar said that Punjab has a lot of potential in the field of livestock and dairy sectors and sustainable development of these sectors will make farmers economically strong.
He said there is a need to pay more attention to research in the sector as it plays the role of engine for the growth of the country s economy. In order to increase milk and meat production, modern techniques should be adopted, he emphasized.
Punjab CM also directed to form a special committee for the promotion of livestock and dairy sector.
