Police arrested a dacoit after an encounter in Islampura area of Lahore on Tuesday.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Police arrested a dacoit after an encounter in Islampura area of Lahore on Tuesday night while his accomplice managed to escape, Dunya News reported.
According to details, two dacoits were fleeing after snatching a motorcycle from a citizen when a police party reached the spot. Dacoits opened fire at the police party. Police returned the fire and arrested a dacoit while his accomplice managed to escape.
Residents of the area gathered at the spot after the encounter and got hold of the dacoit. The angry mob severely beat the dacoit and then handed him over to police. Police sources said that search to arrest the other dacoit has been launched.
