Peshawar: Police foil major terror bid, seize cache of weapons
Police recovered a huge quantity of arms during operation in Jamrud on Friday.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police foiled a major terror attempt in an operation in Jamrud near Peshawar on Friday, getting hold of large quantity of weapons, reported Dunya News.
Addressing a press conference, District Police Officer Dr Muhammad Iqbal informed that police conducted operation in different areas of Jamrud and recovered a huge quantity of arms.
He said that police recovered Rocket launchers, mortar shells, hand grenades, mortar fuses, bullets and other sophisticated weapons during the operation.
