CAA issues new SOPs for international, charter flights
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued new SOPs for international flights and charter flights. The new rules and regulations will be applicable from October 5 to December 31.
According to details, there are 2 categories of countries around the world for COVID-19 risk assessment. PCR test will not be required for passengers coming from Category ‘A’ countries.
Category A includes 38 countries, including Australia, Canada, China, Singapore, Germany and Japan, while Category ‘B’ passengers will be required to show the COVID-19 PCR test.
Passengers coming to Pakistan will be required to download the Pass Track mobile application.
Passengers will not be able to obtain a boarding pass without entering their personal details in the application.
A print out of the details mentioned in the application has to be submitted for obtaining boarding pass.
All passengers and crew must also submit a health declaration form before boarding.
Prior to boarding passengers, the aircraft must be disinfected in accordance with SOPs.
The presence of PPEs on each aircraft will be ensured while all passengers and crew will be required to wear in-flight masks and comply with other SOPs. Cabin crew will be required to provide hand sanitizers to passengers every hour.
