Coronavirus kills 6 Pakistanis, infects 694 in one day

Pakistan has so far conducted 3,420,654 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan has reported 6 deaths in last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 310,275. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 6,457, Dunya News reported on Sunday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 694 persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 in 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Sindh remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.

Till now 135,766 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 99,128 in Punjab, 37,617 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 16,440 in Islamabad, 15,013 in Balochistan, 2,649 in Azad Kashmir and 3,662 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore 2,486 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Sindh, 2,230 in Punjab, 1,259 in KP, 145 in Balochistan, 181 in Islamabad, 85 in GB and 71 in Azad Kashmir.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 3,420,654 coronavirus tests and 36,468 in last 24 hours. 295,613 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 584 patients are in critical condition.
