Minorities enjoying equal rights in country: President Alvi
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - President Dr Arif Alvi has said the minorities are enjoying equal civic rights in the country as promised by the constitution of Pakistan.
Talking a delegation of Minority Community led by former Parliamentary Secretary Khalil George in Islamabad on Monday, he said that the government will ensure protection of these rights in future.
He said minorities in neighbouring country are facing Indian state terrorism.
The delegation also include Sardar Ranjeet Singh, Wilson Wazir and other members of different communities.
Khalil George, on the occasion, said that the minorities of Pakistan will highlight brutalities committed by Indian forces against minorities at ever forum.
Sardar Ranjeet Singh, said that Sikh Community is very grateful to the government on opening of Kartarpur Corridor.
