Governor Punjab calls on CM Sindh
Ch Sarwar expressed solidarity with the people of Sindh over loss of life and property due to rains.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar called on Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah at the CM House on Tuesday and expressed solidarity with the people of Sindh over loss of life and property in the province due to recent monsoon rains, Dunya News reported.
Murad Ali Shah thanked Chaudhry Sarwar for the visit and providing relief goods for the rain-affected persons in Sindh. Governor Punjab assured the Sindh Chief Minister of Centre’s full cooperation in the development of province.
CM Sindh informed Chaudhry Sarwar that rainfall during monsoon in Karachi this year broke 90-year record and we are standing with the affected people in this hour of need.
He informed Governor Punjab that 90 percent standing crops in Mirpur Khas Division have been destroyed due to heavy rains which also rendered a number of families homeless.
