Two years of PTI: Political, religious parties unsatisfied with govt's Karachi policies
The parties stated that the federal government has badly failed to do justice with Karachi people
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The religious and political parties in the country have expressed unsatisfaction over the policies of incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), who has completed first two years in the government, for the development of Karachi.
The parties stated that the federal government has badly failed to do justice with the people living in Karachi. The locals have also criticized PTI and said that they are disappointed over the two-year performance of the federation.
Those who raised slogan of changing the biased system have changed themselves after coming into power. The increasing inflation has affected the livelihood of several people, they stated.
Water supply, Green Line, Karachi Circular Railway, electricity and infrastructure projects have faced delay during the first two years of PTI government.
However, some residents have also showed trust in PTI for the progress of the metropolis.
According to PTI Karachi president Khurrum Sher Zaman, work is being carried in city’s streets and roads from member of National Assembly (MNA) funds.
In the span of two years, six flyovers in Central District, roads in Manghopir and Nishtar have also been constructed.
