CM Punjab will resign when asked by PM: Fawad Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that Sardar Usman Buzdar did not stand on his own footings, he was made the Chief Minister by the Prime Minister and whenever Prime Minister will ask him to resign, he will resign if not he will be sacked within 24 hours.

Fawad Chaudhry was asked during Dunya News program "Naqt-e-Nazar” that PTI ministers Abdul Aleem Khan, Babar Awan and Sabteen Khan had resigned on allegations, could this example also fit for someone else?

He said that Usman Buzdar was made the Chief Minister by the Prime Minister and whenever Prime Minister will ask him to resign, he will resign if not he will be sacked within 24 hours.

Talking about the NAB incident, he said that Maryam Nawaz herself had admitted that people were complaining about the silence of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).

Fawad said that PML-N also needs to satisfy their voters and after few days, people will forget this incident.

Answering a question, he said that the police system should be reformed, while criticizing the police behavior he asked that, what police do with the common man? Due to the investigative system, people have lost faith in justice. We have not done anything to reform the judicial system.

Fawad Chaudhry said that there is a big problem with the statement of accountability. It s been two years, people demand accountability of those who have looted the wealth of this country and want money to be returned.

The Federal Minister for Science and Technology said that equitable distribution of resources among the provinces is very important. As much as Karachi is a problem, so are other cities. The city of Ghotki did not receive a single rupee.
