Crackdown on terrorist groups intensify across Sindh amid cracker attacks

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Authorities have intensified action against terrorist groups after cracker attacks across Sindh including Karachi.

Investigators has said that the groups involved in the attacks are being investigated for funding from the Indian intelligence agency RAW.

In a few days, more than eight cracker attacks took place across Sindh, most of them using Russian-made grenades.

Cracker attacks took place in Gulshan-e-Hadid, Hub Chowki, Manzil Pump, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Liaquatabad, Ghotki and Larkana areas of Karachi, officials said. Serial cracker attacks were carried out at all these places.

According to sources, evidence of involvement of Indian intelligence agency "RAW" in the attacks has been found while the local terrorist networks assisted in the attacks.

The attacks are aimed at sabotaging Pakistan Day activities. Law enforcement agencies have conducted raids across Sindh and arrested 12 people.
