Govt taking action against mafia first time in history: Ch Sarwar
'PTI is strengthening state institutions and making them free from political interference'
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar on Tuesday has said that for the first time in the history, a government is taking strict action against mafia.
Talking to different delegations in Lahore, the governor said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is strengthening the state institutions and making them free from political interference.
The purpose behind government policies is to provide relief to the general masses in all fields of life, he added.
The governor further asked the people to strictly observe SOPs on Eid-ul-Azha to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
