LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met Chief of Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) Sardar Akhtar Mengal today.

According to details, both leaders discussed current political landscape of the country during the meeting, which was also attended by Syed Nayyer Hussain Bokhari and Farhatullah Babar.

Earlier in late June, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari called Akhtar Mengal to discuss important issues related to the country’s political landscape.

The issues of the incumbent government giving statements against the 18th Amendment and its steps for the NFC award were also discussed between the two leaders.

It is pertinent to mention here that Akhtar Mengal has parted ways with the incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

While addressing the National Assembly (NA) session, Mengal made this announcement and said that his party has waited for two years but no one has bothered to pay attention to their demands despite fully supporting the government in last budget.

He said that PTI had signed two agreements at the time of government formation after the 2018 General Elections and later during the presidential elections, but not a single point of the accord was implemented.

We will stay in the Parliament and will keep on raising the issues, he added.
