PTI flag on Sehat Insaaf Card: IHC summons reply from health, information ministries
IHC said party flags and pictures on government cards are against rules.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday conducted hearing on a case pertaining to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) flag scheme on Sehat Insaaf Card and summoned reply from federal ministries of health and information.
The court said in its remarks that party flags and pictures on government cards are against the rules and the Supreme Court had taken suo motu action against three provinces in 2018.
The IHC said that the federal government is violating the apex court’s decisions and why should action not be taken against the incumbent regime over this violation.
The court issued notices to all parties to submit written replies and adjourned the hearing till August 10.
