Federal Board announces Matric results
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Federal Board of Education has announced the results of the matriculation examination and the success rate was 91%.
93,304 students participated in the matriculation examinations while 85,151 students were declared successful in the examinations.
In Science Group, Khansha Yaqoob and Manahil Khan secured the first position with 1097 marks while in Arts Group, Ayesha Ali secured the first position with 1043 marks.
Federal Board Chairman Atiq Ahmad said that it was a difficult task to compile the results, but even in the case of the coronavirus, we were the first to announce the results.
He said that due to Coronavirus, the government had not taken the examinations this time and based on the performance of the ninth class, the results were compiled by giving three percent extra marks to the tenth class students.
