Scheduled, unscheduled loadshedding in Karachi irks citizens
The power outage in most areas of Karachi city has also created water shortage.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - With the rise in temperature, scheduled and unscheduled loadshedding has been intensified in Karachi and power remains shut down for hours in several localities of the city, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.
Several areas of Karachi, including Lyari, Gulistan Johar, Pehawan Goth, Bhitaiabad, Safura Chaurangi, Nazimabad, New Karachi, Gulberg, Ancholi, Samanabad, Sadar, Khara Dar, Ranchor Line, Gulshan Hadeed, Landhi, Korangi were badly hit by loadshedding.
Citizens spent a sleepless night as these localities remained in darkness throughout the night on Tuesday. The power outage in most areas of Karachi city has also created water shortage.
People are of the view that K-Electric has once again hung the citizens on the cross of loadshedding. In the scorching heat, the citizens are facing difficulties.
Domestic affairs and daily life of the citizens have been severely affected by the power outage. Unannounced loadshedding in different areas has reached up to 15 hours.
