NAB closes in on PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Following anti-corruption, NAB has also closed in on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Sindh MPA Haleem Adil Sheikh. It has been revealed that he illegally seized 257 acres of land in Malir and later sold it.
According to details, NAB has started its investigation and sought all relevant documents from Deputy Commissioner Malir on the issue by July 27.
The PTI leader from Karachi is accused of illegal occupation and sale of government land in addition to money laundering. NAB’s letter also mentions the area and size of all the lands in question.
It may be recalled that last year, Anti-Corruption East had sought permission from the Chief Secretary to register a case against Haleem Adil after it caught a network of fake housing societies along the Super Highway.
Reacting to this, Haleem Adil Sheikh said that he has not received any notice from NAB and all documents about the land in question are clear.
