Imran Khan should seek vote of confidence again: Marriyum Aurangzeb

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that Imran Khan is no longer the Prime Minister, he should seek a vote of confidence again.

A statement issued by Marriyum Aurangzeb said that 160 votes in the budget session were proof that Imran Khan had lost his majority in the National Assembly (NA).

The PML-N spokesperson said that the vote on the budget was proof that the government has lost the majority of 172 members in the National Assembly and Imran Khan has also lost the trust of his own members.

She said that people have already distrusted Imran Khan. Constitutionally, parliamentary and legally, he is no longer the Prime Minister. A government that fails to show the required majority in approving a fiscal bill does not have the right to rule under the constitution, she added.
