India uses torture as instrument to crush struggle of Kashmiris: FM Qureshi
Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that India has failed to ratify the UN Convention on Torture.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in his message on Twitter on the occasion of International Day in Support of Victims of Torture said that India is using torture as an instrument to crush struggle of people of Kashmiris.
FM Qureshi said that today on International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, I draw attention to the fact that India has failed to ratify the UN Convention on Torture.
"Instead, Indian Govt freely uses torture as an instrument of state policy to crush Kashmiri struggle for right to self-determination," Shah Mehmood Qureshi said.
