Govt did not prohibit Nawaz from politics neither will object his return: Babar Awan
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Babar Awan has said that the government has not prohibited Nawaz Sharif from carrying out political activities in Pakistan. If he wants to come back, the government has no objection and government will provide air ticket to Nawaz Sharif for his return.
Speaking in the National Assembly, he said that Ehsas program is the most transparent program in Pakistan. In this regard, Dr. Sania Nishtar can give a briefing in any committee, he added.
Babar Awan said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi may object to the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) issue but not to any Pakistani assembly.
He said that the government wants to open all businesses across the country including tourism in Murree and Galiyat and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) can be discussed in this regard.
