Pak agrees to establish Counter-Terrorism Index Management System

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan has accepted another condition of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and decided to set up a Counter-Terrorism Index Management System, to curb currency smuggling and terror financing.

According to a document received by Dunya News, the total cost of setting up the system will be more than Rs 1.4 billion and has proposed to allocate more than Rs 250 million for the center in the next financial year.

According to the document, it is recommended to allocate Rs 300 million for modernization of cyber crimes wing, Rs 200 million for the second phase of integrated border management system and Rs 200 million for the federal government own National Forensic Science Agency.
