Indian Army critically injures two children, two women in unprovoked firing at LoC
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Major General Babar Iftikhar tweeted on the social networking site Twitter that Indian army had once again opened fire on the Line of Control without provocation and injured multiple civilians in the process. The shooting took place in Jandrot sector.
DG ISPR said that civilians were targeted in Dera Sher Khan, Sandhara and Bamroch villages of Jandrot Sector and four civilians were critically injured in the firing, including two women and two children.
The Pakistan Army spokesman said in a tweet that the injured included 26-year-old Miss Nasreen from Sandhara village, 24-year-old Rabia and 7-year-old Momina from Dera Sher Khan and 7-year-old Munshi from Bamroch.
The injured children and women have been rushed to a nearby hospital by the Pakistan Army for medical treatment.
