Govt decides to strictly enforce coronavirus SOPs

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The government has decided to strictly monitor the implementation of the SOPs issued to protect people from the coronavirus and has decided to take action against those who do not comply with the SOPs.

According to details, Special Health Assistant Zafar Mirza has said that the use of masks will be enforced strictly and action will be taken if anyone seen without a mask at public places. He urged people that they should not let themselves and their family members go to public places without wearing a mask.

Giving a media briefing in Islamabad on Sunday, Special Health Assistant Dr Zafar Mirza said that wearing a mask is mandatory and no negligence will be tolerated in this regard. The government is working on an integrated strategy against the coronavirus, he added.

He said wearing mask can prevent the spread of the disease by 40 to 60 percent and urged people to follow SOPs issued by government to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.
