A NAB Lahore team had arrived At Sharif's residence in Model Town to arrest him
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that we are not going to be deterred from this political revenge and we will appear in the High Court tomorrow.
Talking to media outside Mian Shehbaz Sharif’s residence 96H Model Town, she strongly condemned the move taken by the NAB to arrest Shehbaz and said that the hired spokespersons were making false allegations against their political opponents. She said that if the NAB team comes to arrest Shehbaz Sharif, the public will go to Bani Gala to arrest Imran in return.
Marriyum Aurangzeb alleged that all this was happening on Imran Khan’s orders and that the whole nation is aware of this fact. She said that this malicious operation by NAB-Niazi Nexus is only political revenge, something which has been repeatedly pointed out by the Supreme Court as well.
She said that there were evidences of corruption in Billion Tree Tsunami project and Sugar export yet no arrests were made, what happened to the NAB notice on the sugar inquiry report? Why was the Prime Minister not reprimanded for the corruption, she asked.
She said that Shehbaz Sharif has been appearing in NAB cases regularly and he submitted answers to every question. Shehbaz Sharif told NAB in a letter that he suspects that some NAB officers have contracted the virus and that is why he cannot appear.
She said that when a petition has been submitted to the High Court, today’s circus outside Shehbaz’s house is nothing but contempt of court on Imran’s order. She said that we are not ones to run away, we will go to the High Court tomorrow.
