PIA to receive insurance amount of crashed plane passengers
KARACHI (Dunya News) – PIA plane A320 which crashed near Karachi airport on May 22, was leased through a foreign company.
According to sources the crashed PIA plane was dry leased in 2014 from a foreign company. PIA was paying 350,000 dollars to the lessor company every month.
In addition, plane was insured from another foreign insurance company and the insurance amount of 20 million dollars will be paid to the insurance company.
According to sources, insurance amount of Rs5 million would be paid to every individual passenger’s family through proper procedure.
