NAB chief chairs key meeting to discuss development in corruption cases

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal on Thursday has chaired important meeting at anti-graft watchdog’s headquarters.

According to details, the participants reviewed corruption cases against Sharif family, Lahore Development Authority former Director General Ahad Cheema and former principal secretary to the Prime Minister, Fawad Hassan Fawad.

They also discussed development in references against ex-PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former interior minister Ahsan Iqbal and ex-finance minister Miftah Ismail while offshore companies case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aleem Khan was also reviewed.

On the occasion, chairman Javed Iqbal told that NAB’s aim is to free country from corruption. The bureau has no link with any political party, he clarified.
