Opposition hold symbolic Sindh Assembly session at stairs

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and other opposition parties of Sindh Assembly on Wednesday held a symbolic session of the assembly.

According to details, lawmakers of opposition parties staged a sit in at stairs of the assembly and demanded Sindh government to end politics on coronavirus issue.

Lawmakers also accused the provincial government of corruption in the budget.

Earlier, Opposition Leader of Sindh Assembly Firdous Shamim approached Sindh High Court (SHC) against Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani.

On the occasion, Firdous Shamim said that the speaker is violating constitution by adjourning session of May 18 without any notice.

He added that people of Karachi want Governor’s rule in the province and said that PPP has destroyed the province.
