Retail shops will remain open in KP during Eid days: Ajmal Wazir
Ajmal Wazir stated that bakeries and home delivery services will be available even after 5:00 pm
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Advisor for Information and Public Relations Ajmal Wazir on Wednesday has said that all retail shops across the province will remain open during Eid-ul-Fitr days.
Talking to media in Peshawar, the advisor said that the decision was taken in the light of Supreme Court’s (SC) directives. The provincial retail shops will also remain open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, he went on to say.
Ajmal Wazir stated that bakeries and home delivery services will be available even after 5:00 pm across the province. Traders are required to ensure implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) during working hours, he added.
The advisor further said that a notification in this regard has also been issued.
