The report says that steps are being taken to deal with coronavirus in light of the national policy

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Ministry of Health has submitted its progress report in the coronavirus suo moto case to the Supreme Court.

The report submitted to the Supreme Court says that places with heavy crowds such as offices, shopping malls, and wedding halls will remain closed till May 31, while small shops in rural and urban areas will be opened and operated within stipulated SOPs.

The report further said that grocery shops in all the provinces would be open from dawn to 5 pm and there would be total lockdown on Saturdays and Sundays except for essential item shops.

The report submitted to the Supreme Court also stated that a decision regarding intercity and intra city transport will be taken in the future and all educational institutions will remain closed till July 15. The report said that steps are being taken to deal with coronavirus in light of the national policy according to the Supreme Court’s directive.
