DG ISI, PM Imran discuss matters related to national security
They discussed regional situation, especially aggression from India in recent days and other matters
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Director General Lieutenant General Faiz Hamid called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Wednesday.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to national security came under discussion.
Special Assistant on National Security Division Dr. Moeed Yusuf separately called on Prime Minister Imran Khan.
They discussed regional situation, especially aggression from India in recent days and other matters.
They also deliberated on measures taken to repatriate Pakistanis stranded abroad and the progress in this regard.
Earlier today, the prime minister Imran Khan had warned the world about India’s continuing efforts to find a pretext for a false flag operation targeting Pakistan.
In a tweet, the premier said latest baseless allegations by India of "infiltration" across Line of Control are a continuation of this dangerous agenda.

He said the Indigenous Kashmiri resistance against Indian Occupation is a direct consequence of India’s oppression and brutalization of Kashmiris.
The prime minister said fascist policies of the RSS-BJP combine are fraught with serious risks. He said the international community must act before India’s reckless moves jeopardize peace and security in South Asia.
Last month, PM Imran Khan had visited Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) headquarters. The prime minister was accompanied by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
ISI chief Lt Gen Faiz Hameed received the Imran Khan upon his arrival.
During the visit, he was given briefing on internal and external challenges faced by the country. PM Imran Khan was briefed on situation pertaining to the coronavirus pandemic.
The prime minister said that no stone will be left unturned to safeguard national security and sovereignty.
He also appreciated the services and sacrifices of the ISI for the country.
